A Non-Profit Founded in Lima, Ohio
We fund the standing wheelchair upgrades that insurance won't cover — giving individuals with mobility impairments the independence, dignity, and health they deserve.
Who We Are
Standing wheelchair technology exists. It works. It changes lives — improving circulation, reducing pressure sores, restoring bone density, and giving people the ability to look the world in the eye again.
The problem is cost. Insurance covers the base wheelchair. It rarely covers the standing functionality upgrade. The Right to Stand was founded to bridge that gap — one person, one chair at a time.
